PMI was awarded the Circle of Success Award by Shell Oil Company, which recognizes only the top distributors in the United States. This is PMI's twenty-third consecutive year as a recipient of this award.
PMI was recognized by ExxonMobil as a Platinum Leader in Excellence Award winner in 2009. This award is presented to only the top 40 distributors in the United States for their excellence in marketing the ExxonMobil brand.
PMI and Stop In Food Stores sponsored the 25th Annual MDA Golf Tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Our total contribution of $180,555 in 2008-2009 received recognition from Citgo Petroleum as one of their highest contributors in the United States. Our total contributions to MDA over the past twenty-five (25) years now exceed $2,535,000.
PMI sponsored the Terry M. Phelps Memorial Bowl-a-thon to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The generous support of our suppliers, vendors, business partners and directors, combined with the hard work and commitment of our employees, enabled us to raise a record $92,500 to support the Blue Ridge Chapter of the National MS Society. PMI's total contributions to MS over the past eleven (11) years now exceed $850,000.
